Stained Concrete and Dyes

For many years, contractors and designers have used concrete stains and dyes to beautify cement surfaces. In fact, one of the original coloring options was concrete acid stain for cement flooring. As property owners increased in demand for decorative stained concrete floors, manufacturers began to develop numerous dye and stain color options.

Today, colored concrete comes in acid stains, solvent and water-based dyes as well as acrylic coloring for application to existing concrete, polished concrete, self-leveling overlays and microtoppings.

All options are available for both interior and exterior concrete for use in such projects as concrete countertops, pool decks, patios, garage floors and basements, retail stores, offices, restaurants and warehouses.
